Aerospool has announced a new option, a “soft ride” undercarriage for operation off rough airfields.
A fixed undercarriage based on the retractable landing gear. But no hydraulics, or fuselage retraction wells, designed specifically for customers who fly at airfields with uneven surfaces. Aircraft speed is lowered by approximately 10 kph compared to a standard fixed gear with wheel covers.
Note that an aircraft with the NF landing gear cannot be modified to a version with retractable gear.
